Several of my clients have asked me about how to create a list of file parts associated with a box. Although you can get this information from the Box “Box Contents” tab of a storage Box, or from a Box Detail Report, records managers need to be able to do more, such as to perform actions on the files or update the metadata on the files.
Did you know you can add a Box ID field to the File Part Search form? By adding the Box ID field to the form, your users can now search for files listed in a storage Box. This can be done through Application Designer.
Now if you perform this search, your search results will show only the files that are in the Box.
